These day-by-day lesson plans have been written to give you, the parent-teacher, a detailed blueprint as to how standards-based math instruction might progress over an entire school year. Though not intended to dictate a particular format or teaching model, they do provide a clear picture of the skills and concepts typically taught at each grade.
The lessons are designed to: 1) introduce and re-visit appropriate skills and concepts within one year, 2) integrate multiple skills within a single unit of study.
