Choosing a Character Flaw

Now that you've created a protagonist who has a goal about which he or she is passionate, it's time to consider what you can do to make the character dynamic. This means he or she is going to need to undergo some type of change or transformation due to the dramatic action in the story.

Nothing could be worse than to have a main character who is flat (two-dimensional) and boring, and one of the best ways to avoid this is give that individual a character flaw.
